Working Group on Automated Decision Review opens for participation
The group is now accepting participants from outside the institute — particularly people who expect the draft standard to fail.
Our first working group is now open to participants from outside the institute. It is drafting an auditable standard for the review of automated decisions affecting individuals.
We are specifically looking for supervisory staff, engineers responsible for deployed systems, and caseworkers who exercise override in practice. A standard drafted without its implementers is a document nobody implements.
This is the point at which participation has most influence on the questions asked, so if this is close to your own work, now is a better time to join than later.
